Even though oral appliance therapy has been reported in the news quite a bit more than a decade ago, I am still amazed about how few people are being treated for sleep apnea with oral appliances, compared to the high recent estimations on the occurrence of OSA in the public. In a recent study in Wisconsin as much as 23 % of the adult population between 30-60 years were estimated to have obstructive sleep apnea!  The same clinician has estimated that over age 65, as much as 60% are at risk! �
